Maximum Air Flow with EMI Performance

Laird Technologies’ EMI shielding ventilation panels are available in a wide array of materials, platings, and mounting configurations. These vent panels offer designers versatility to meet EMI, environmental, and mechanical requirements of system specifications.

ElectroAir™ vent panels are simple, low-cost, and low-profile solutions for EMI reduction, high air flow, and dust filtration. Formed of metal frames with knitted mesh filters, they can also be supplied with additional foam filtration media.

ElectroVent™ vent panels provide high air flow for component cooling by using durable metal honeycomb and frames, yet provide a barrier to reduce RF leakage in sizes ranging from small muffin fans on desk tops to large room size facilities. ElectroVent™ vent panels are available in steel and aluminum honeycomb with aluminum frames plated in a variety of finishes to ensure compatibility and long life.

MaxAir™ vent panels are an innovative cost-effective approach to provide increased airflow along with EMI protection. The nickel copper plated polymeric honeycomb material provides a rigid medium which eliminates the need for costly frame designs. This patent-pending frameless design allows greater airflow through the entire area of the honeycomb surface. A compressible conductive foam seal around the perimeter, perpendicular to the airflow, provides extensive tolerance to accommodate variations in shelf widths or vent panel opening dimensions. MaxAir™ vent panels can be inserted with slide-in motion or by compression fit utilizing compression stops and minimal hardware.
